- Part 2: Make a Map
- First, navigate to this website and download and save this blank outline map to your computer or your photos - http://bit.ly/ausmap2.
- Navigate to https://sketch.io/sketchpad/ to begin annotating your map.
- In the top-left corner of the screen, choose the folder icon with the plus sign (Open or Create).
- Choose “Import”.
- Select the file “austra1.gif” and import the file.
- Using the drawing tools available, note the location of each of the 6 physical features from the table above. Be sure to be as close as possible to the actual location and to write the name by each place.
- When you are finished, choose “Share” and select Share again. Write the finished URL in the space provide on the document. Students may also print the map and draw on it.
- Students will upload the completed document into an email when all 3 parts are completed.

- Students will use the links on part 1 to complete research on important physical features in Australia. Complete the chart for part 1 of the internet activity.

- You will submit the final product on Friday. Your one-pager will combine all 4 history sub-standards to demonstrate your knowledge.

Learning Target: I can describe the influence of the Spanish and the Portuguese on the language and religions of Latin America by watching a video and answer questions 8-9 of internet activity from the textbook.
The internet activity is attached to the following blog post and the link to the PowerPoint Presentation is embedded in the activity itself. You should have everything you need in the activity itself. It is the SAME HANDOUT AS LAST WEEK. Please use only the slides 15-20 to answer questions 8-9.
View the attached file from the textbook and go to the link in the document. It will take you to an online presentation. You are able to type in the PDF. Take a picture and email it to me, or copy and paste into Word and share it through Office 365.
Use the online textbook login information that I have sent via email to access information from the textbook for ADDITIONAL SUPPORT.
